Section 8 application Las Vegas - What is the Housing Choice Voucher Program?

The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is a Federally funded rental assistance program. Housing vouchers are used to pay roughply seventy percent of the tenants rent. This particular rental assistance program is very hard to apply for because housing authorities usually do not have open waiting list applications available. This is because they have to close their Section 8 waiting list due to the high demand for low income housing nation wide. Section 8 applications are always free online or at the PHA.

Nevada provides help with rent from the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. Low income individuals can apply for and receive housing assistance from the federal government Section 8 program. The Nevada housing program provides financial aid to renters.
